Percy Chang is a photographer working with cultural memory as part of an ongoing research-based practice. Her work makes space for remembering through intervals and quiet observation, where everyone enters the same space, yet no one leaves with the same memory. She lingers on everyday traces and on how meaning forms in moments just before it disappears.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, she has spent much of her adult life moving between places. Over the years, she has lived in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Sweden. This continual shifting between cultures, languages, and ways of living has shaped how she looks at the world and how she moves through it.

She studied photojournalism early on, which developed a strong sense of timing and an instinct for quiet, unguarded moments.

She is currently based in Landskrona, in southern Sweden.
